Pop-Up Shop!!

Origami Owl is doing it again! They are offering an amazing deal, but only for a limited time! Welcome to the Pop-Up Shop!

Both collections pictured retail for $138 (plus tax + shipping). But through Sunday night, you can get either one for...

$84.99!!! (plus tax + shipping)

This is a great way to start or add to your Origami Owl collection, and these are very versatile collections. For example, I can already think of THREE additional ways I'll wear the pieces in the "Love to Play Ball" collection.

Option One: Love Ya Lions!
Put the Love into the large locket with the Football, Helmet, Blue and
Clear stones, remove the mini. Great look for this PSU alum!

Option Two: Proud to be an American!
American Flag, Red, White and Blue stones in the Mini Locket on the Chain w/o the Extender.

Option Three: Happy Holidays!
Mini Locket with Red and Clear stones. Add a Green stone (from my own collection, sold separately) with the believe and the dangle for a beautiful holiday look.

This deal is not available on the web site. Please email me to order! I will send you a PayPal invoice for the total (including tax and shipping) that must be paid prior to me placing the order.

This deal is only available through Sunday evening, and quantities are limited, so when they are gone, THEY ARE GONE!

Just for Fun!

Here's something fun. It's a personality test! First look at the trees and decide which one appeals to you most. Go with your gut - and pick the one that stands out to you most.

Did you pick one?

Now, here's what your tree means:

#1: You are a generous and moral (not to confuse with moralizing) person. You always work on self-improvement. You are very ambitious and have very high standards. People might think that communicating with you is difficult, but for you, it isn’t easy to be who you are. You work very hard but you are not in the least selfish. You work because you want to improve the world. You have a great capacity to love people until they hurt you. But even after they do. . . you keep loving. Very few people can appreciate everything you do as well as you deserve.
#2: You are a fun, honest person. You are very responsible and like taking care of others. You believe in putting in an honest day’s work and accept many work-related responsibilities. You have a very good personality and people come to trust you easily. You are bright, witty and fast-thinking. You always have an interesting story to tell.
# 3: You are intelligent and thoughtful. You are a great thinker. Your ideas and thoughts mean the most to you. You enjoy pondering your ideas alone. You are introverted. You like people who enjoy thinking and learning. You are never superficial. You spend a lot of time thinking about morality. You do the right thing even if most people disagree with you.
#4: You are insightful and philosophical. You are unique, with a soul that is one of a kind. There is nobody who is even slightly like you. You have a great intuition and possess a variety of quirks. People often misunderstand you, and that hurts your feelings. You need a lot of personal space. Your creativity demands development. It needs to be respected by others. You clearly see the positive and the negative aspects of life. You are also very emotional.
#5: You are self-assured and in charge. You are very independent. Your guiding principle in life is ‘I’ll do it my way.’. You are very self-reliant and know how to stay strong for yourself and the people you love. You know exactly what you want and are not afraid of pursuing your dreams. The only thing you demand from people is honesty. You are strong enough to accept the truth.
#6: You are kind and sensitive. People relate to you very well. You have many friends and you love helping them. You have this warm and bright aura that makes people feel good when they are around you. Every day, you think about what you can do to improve yourself. You want to be interesting, insightful and unique. More than anybody else in the world, you need to love. You are even ready to love those who don’t love you back.
# 7: You are happy and unflappable. You are a very sensitive and understanding person. You are a great listener who know how to be non-judgmental. You believe that everybody has their own journey in life. You are open to new people and events. You are highly resistant to stress and rarely worry. Normally, you are very relaxed. You always manage to have a good time and never lose your way.
#8: You are charming and energetic. You are a fun person who knows hot to make people laugh. You live in a state of harmony with the universe. You are spontaneous and enthusiastic. You never say no to an adventure. Often, you end up surprising and even shocking people. But that’s just how you are. . . You always remain true to yourself. You have many interests and if something proves of interest to you, you will not rest until you acquire a profound knowledge of this area.
#9: You are optimistic and lucky. You believe that life is a gift and you try to achieve as much as possible and put this gift to the best use possible. You are very proud of your achievements. You are ready to stick by the people you care about through thick and thin. You have a very healthy approach to life. The glass is (at least) half full for you. You use any opportunity to forgive, learn, and grow because you believe that life is too short to do otherwise.

New For Fall!

The NEW Fall and Winter Take Out Menu (our term for the Origami Owl catalog) is here and full of so many beautiful new pieces! My personal favorite? The Window Plates! I just adore them!

It's a simple and elegant way to change-up your current locket or create a new one. You can wear them alone. I mean, literally, alone, on a chain, without a locket!

Or put it in a locket with our without charms. It is one of the most versatile pieces in my O2 collection, and I want to own them all!

So simple, yet so pretty!

The "love" plate is my personal favorite.
Would you like a to add a little bling to your Living Locket with a Window Plate? Order online or contact me to order. Or, host a party and get one for free with our awesome hostess rewards!

Welcome!

Welcome to my new blog! This blog is all about my journey as an Origami Owl Independent Designer. I joined Origami Owl (O2 for short) on the wait list in August of 2012, and "got my wings" one year ago this Wednesday. Since I joined O2, more than 45,000 Independent Designers have joined this awesome company. Our growth has be absolutely amazing!

Unlike some of my fellow Designers, I didn't do a lot with my business at first. I had a new baby, along with two other children, and I just saw O2 as something "fun" I could do to get out of the house. Oh how my attitude has changed! I now realize that Origami Owl is more than just a jewelry company, and it is more than a home party business, it is an amazing opportunity for me to be a small business owner. It allows me to use the skills gained in my "former life" as a consultant and recruiter, and it also allows me to be the mom I want to be! It's pretty awesome!

My plan is to use this blog to share my experiences as an Independent Designer. Whether it's a story about an awesome Jewelry Bar, celebrating one of the amazing Designers on my Hoot Stuff team, sharing new products and ideas from Origami Owl, or just a glimpse into my life in this new career I never expected... I plan to share it all!

If you have any questions, just ask! Want to know about my business? I'm happy to share! Would you like to host a fabulous Jewelry Bar for your friends? If you are in the Philadelphia metro area, I can make that happen! If you are not, then let's talk about catalog or virtual Facebook parties, or perhaps I can refer you to another Designer on my team. Even if you want to know how things work with 3 kids, one of whom has significant disabilities, and a husband who travels, I would welcome the opportunity to tell you about my crazy, but wonderful life!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll leave you today with the Origami Owl Mission Statement...
